Seriously. Don't hand me any tech thing...
I just killed off ALL, ALL Leo's contacts in his phone and I have still no idea how I did that.
SOOOO SORRY!!!
Man, technology hates me.

Innocence lost...
I'll be so dead by Friday.
Goal: Write at least half the essay
Reality: PROCASTINATING biggie time!!
Things happen and you wonder what hit you then. Like a steamroller ran over you and you feel so flat. (This is what happen when you stay in NZ, your English detoriate. I know I can do describing essays better than this pathetic one)
LOL.
I can predict my future. An old, crochety, cynical, satanic SINGLE lady living with her THOUSANDS of cats and screaming at couples who walk past her, "YOU IDIOTS! You have NO IDEA what you are doing..."
Well... Looks like I copied that out of a book.
This is even better.
Friendships broken up because of love.
And love never last because your parents stopped you.
Hey, that is supposed to be you would tell your parents in the face that you love the guy so much that you are willing to risk your fortune and parents for it. (Anyway, that's what novels and movies and dramas says ---> I did my research!)
Well, it seems like the world is living the fictional world as well or is it that the fictional world gets it's ideas from the real world?????????
I'm not judging this or what... However, I still feel sorry loh... Consequences of not being realistic. I am very. That's why I can predict my future. LOL. HUGE LIAR. Only God knows what the future holds for us.
I did hope that they would lasy thourgh it as they went through so much trouble PLUS LDR (Long distance relationship) a year before the girl call it quits. Hmm... So much for if you can last through one year of LDR might as well you could last through anything. Last I heard, guy is still pining away for the girl and the girl has another guy already.
Hmm... Remember all those times I had to share a guy with 3 other girls and we were still best friends then. May be because we were all 4 years old. Duh. We even had a roster system and told the guy that he would have which girl first. LUCKY guy. Man, what an innocent childhood I had. Seriously, but we still stayed friends and managed to look each other up last year. Some of you guys would recognise them because they were also my primary schoolmates and classmates. That's one LONG friendship. We've been together for... 16 years? I would tentatively say that.
The most recent photo of four girls minus the guy. We didn't bother to look for him. We lost himat Primary 3. We cried but we got over it anyway because there were better prey outside like... NAI CHEN. LOL. Just JOKING lah but I knew he was REALLY popular. (I'm gettin even...) Dang! What do expect? He's still as popular as ever I think even more so. MUAHAHAHA!!! From a trusted source, I quote "He ah, I think every girl would fall for him except for those who have boyfriends (MUST BE STABLE de lah...)" See... I did my research and link it back to topics. LOL... Well, I was too troubled for my primary school and very VERY rebellious AND cheeky. Or is it I was very intimidated? T-T||| Out of topic again. It's funny to reflect back on your life. Some things just faded away like what I learnt in primary school but I would remember the friends I made and the stupid things we did. I had one friend who shot targets at a teacher's butt (NEW TEACHER!) and both of us would giggle over it. The teacher never knew who did it. No one knew (I THINK!) because we did it while the rest of the class were copying some thing from the board.
Top: Khai Ling (Ling) & I (Ster)
Bottom: Joo Ying (Ying) & Pai Yien (Yien)
We have our own names for each other that no one elses call us by. A bond that still completes itself when we met each other. I've not seen Ling since Form 5 tuition year ended. Ying has no seen any of us since she left us at 11 to transfer to another primary school. Yien, well, I seen her around but seldom we sat down and talked.
When is the last time you met your primary school best friend?

Speaking of...
Vincent really makes us go... T-T
Who could imagine this all-rounder, the every little girl's dream brother or boyfriend, the every teacher's pet would be so... UH...
Well, there is not such thing as a perfect guy.
LOL.
He's not a perfect guy. Looks wise but he makes it up in his bubbly attitude... (Notice the word "bubbly"?)
He used to be/SHOULD still is... our cousins' Ladies Society president. He was the only guy among us girls. Mind you, we grew up together. Very close cousins. All from my mum's side as in her brother and sisters. We were the 妇女会 (we were all less than 15 years that time as the age gap between us were months. Oldest being 15 and youngest at 13) and we usually call Vincent the 妇女会主席. Who was the vice, secretary, treasurer and AJKs we never got round to voting for that but he was definitely our president.
He has this thing for his clothes. HUGE attachment. Wouldn't want to part with them even though they were torn, bitten and icky. For example, he has this baby pillow WHICH does not even leave his side when he sleeps. LOL. Imagine a guy like him with a baby pillow. It's not longer any pillow but a rag piece which we managed to convince him to dump it after my aunt made him another baby pillow.
I remember last year when he had this favourite pair of shorts. It tore in the back and he actually wore it round. So, his sister decided to stop that sore sight and tore the hole bigger. Now, if he did wear it, we would see everything cz of the HUMONGOUS hole. Did it stop him?? NO!! He seriously wore it around the house and kept complaining about his cool butt. DANG guy. He wore it til we all couldn't stand it and his mum sew it back. o_O"
ON another totally different topic altogether.
I had this dream in which I dreamt that my English teacher *ahem* reads my blog and that she sent me an email showing my all my wrong language and grammar and "suggests" that I immediately change it as I should be ashamed of myself for such bad language structure.
I've NO IDEA why I had that random dream.
Lagi scarier if my English tuition teacher reads this blog... It would be horror! WW3. She's really scary. I remember all the times I kena sut cz my English was slacking... And the vocab and SVA she made me study...

I cannot live without this...
EGGS!!!!!
No eggs in the house... Someone ate the last 3 without the rest knowing... *wails*
I seriously have an addiction to eggs. I want them scrambled, fried, deep fried, beaten, half-boiled BUT not BOILED eggs.
Sometimes through food you can see how observant a person is.
June called me a b**** because I picked out all the carrot cubes and peas in the pasta she cooked. Sorry... BUT I really don't eat those things. The pasta was NICE!! Don't worry. It's just the carrots and peas. =P
LOL. My dad also told me off not to be picky because I like to takeaway fried rice and pick out ALL the frozen mix veges they dump in before eating my rice.
Even now, I would AVOID them. I WILL still pick them out but apparently someone has no idea I was doing that.
I also do not eat... Tomatoes (cooked and raw UNLESS in a burger or Sub), mushrooms (dried ones... The tins are my FAV!!) and... Oranges & Pinapple cz they give me deadly gastric.
Weird thing is that I stopped durian altogether. Sob sob sob... I used to be the biggest fan of all but somehow it turned me off in the last 3 years... No, nothing to do with living in NZ.

Why?
It's amazing how friendships come and go. Pieces you picked up on the way of life and lost them later. How you strengthen the bonds you have and weaken others.
Saddens me cz a closed friend of mine (or I'm getting paranoid) didn't bother to tell me what is happening on in her life. I've no idea what happened but somehow we drifted. We used to talk and talk and talk but now, I've no idea what she's doing and how she's doing. I miss those chats but she's been keeping them from me. Maybe I'm that kind of friend that demands to know what is happening in your life. LOL. Sounds very controlling. Duh...... NO I'm not controlling but it's nice to know that you are included.
Or may be I am controlling....................
Bad mood today. Snapped at my cousins. LOL. I'm guessing hormones are imbalanced. SHIT. WITH assignments due also not helping AND a certain thing is happening tomorrow is making me feel even worse.... FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. Found my specs after a 3 day MIA. Damn, they feel good on my face...

*sob*
Nai Chen has a screaming post with me in it. Most embarassing thing EVER!!!!
p.s. Any idea where can I misplace my specs?? I lost my plastic ones in my sleep (SERIOUSLY!!). I've no idea where I placed them. I have another pair of wire specs but I prefer my plastic ones... I keep forgetting things and it shows my age.

Baby names...
Baby boom now!!
Cyn has her niece on the 19th of April.
I had mine on the 19th of March. (WHY DON'T WANT 24th?)
Another church member who moved back to Penang had his on the 17th of March.
Hmm... Then it comes to names. Well... It's VERY IMPORTANT that babies have good names cz trust me, I've got my fair share of teasing of my name often.
Don't choose weird-as-exotic names. Cz no one would HECK know how to pronounce them AND AND AND... You might get very, ahem, different meaning of that name.
My niece is called Leticia. NO OFFENSE but I'm not the biggest fan of it. Well, mum likes it so I didn't really wanted to burst her bubble and disrespect her.
BUT
I'm the worst aunt.
I would imagine saying this to the baby.
"Hey there LETTUCE!! How ya doing?"
My sis would kill me.
BUT (Yes, another BUT)
She would thank that her baby's surname is Chong, not Chai (her mum's maiden name).
Cz it would be Lettuce Chai! Geddit? No? *sad*
My name has evolved to be really fun. I had teacherS mispronouncing my name EVEN when I told them that it is not pronounced as EASTER but ASTher.
And my name is ALWAYS MISPELLED by friends. I forgive you guys anyway.
AND... It doesn't help when I studied Chemistry either 'coz I was getting paranoid with the teacher calling my name every few minutes.
Don't even get me started on my nicknames and I've got pretty rude ones. WHY????
LOL.
BUT, I still like my name. I'm not called Rose Garden, Boss, or anything else. It's a nice pwetty name and I like it. Hehehe... BUT I hated it when I was young, BEGGING my dad to change it cz some idiot called me easter, hamster, mouse AGAIN. Well, at least in NZ, they asked you to pronounce your name you wanted it to be pronounced. Hehehe... =) That's one sign I should consider to stay in NZ. Hmm...

K (as in KARAOKE)
Sang our hearts out at Joey's place today.
He had this karaoke machine WHICH we all promptly started the morning with singing Gay Cow, oops, JAY CHOW's songs. DUH. Man. Can't we sing any other songs? However the machine is DANG gay because the songs are all 2004 and below... BOOHOO!!
Food was AWESOME!! Why?? Leo's mum cooked us pork leg and made lots and lots of delicious pau... *drool*
Ok ok... Back to karaoke. Man... The fun really started when we took out the PS2... WHY??? Cz we wanted Singstar!!! Hahaha... We split into two groups and... SANG OUR HEARTS out!! It was FUN FUN FUN!!! Joey and Leo are GOOD. I do not want to compete against any cz I would lose like heck... Joey would be 9000 and I would be at 8000... Haiz... But the songs were classics man... OLD but nice. I was in Joey's group at first and we tried really hard to beat Leo's one but they were much evened out as Lucien and Mavis in our group wouldn't sing... They had Vincent, Leo, Julie and Victor. LOL. At least they all sang. Then switched groups. LOL. Switched me to Leo's group and we kept winning. HAHAHAHA... But dang songs that made it dang hard to sing. T-T
FUN FUN FUN... Karaoke is good. Doesn't mean that you would have to be fantastic singers to do karaoke. No wonder Simon Cowell always say that you are karaoke standard... Nutso!

Battling it out with Victor and Lucien
Waah... Joey and Leo... See Vince and Jessie very interested in who gets the higher mark...
Vince and Leo battling it out. YAY!!! We had SARSI imported from Malaysia. HAhaha...
The very keen karaoke-rs.
This was Leo's reaction when he saw this : AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! WHEN DID IT TURN TO TWO?????????????????? His very young and very naughty little brother tore it into two...
Looking at songs that we can sing...
I think they were singing some random song... Look at Leo's face...
This is the most random thing at all... I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! Hey, it's mine... For this photo anyway...

Vincent's embarassment, Mel and Esther's delight.
LOL... Vincent always wore the most horrible combination of clothes out. He would be half formal and half... uh... khaki?
And he wore this horrible green striped shirt (VERY SUMMER-y according to Vincent) and his very-favourite-and-looked-like-salted-vegetable khakis...
DANG!!
He came home and started rushing to change cz he has to get to the hospital by 4pm to start his ER shift. THEN... Mel and I heard this "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" from the toilet and he rushed into our room. Guess what?
This is what Vincent said k?
I thought that my butt was itchy so I wanted to scratched it BUT...
AaaaRRRRrrrrGGGGgHHHHh... I found this!! I TOTALLY FORGOT and I wore this pants out. Now I can't wear it to the hospital... (FOR GAWD's sake... WHY WEAR KHAKIS!! and SPORT SHOES??!!)
You know why???

His khakis has a rip just below his butt... So... It's open and Vincent said that he could feel the coldness of his hand when he tried to scratch it. AND he showed us the tear in his trousers...
Actually can be fashion... I've seen guys round Auckland wear jeans ripped off just below their pockets but the worst I've seen was one that was ripped off JUST below his butt. How did I know? I was unfortunately standing behind me and he was walking and dangerously I could be charged with sexual harrassment. ><"

My absolute gorgeous niece...
Due to unforseen circumstances... (AS IN BEING IN NZ...), I could not see my newborn niece... She weighs a hefty 3.8kg... Normal kids do not weigh as much as that... I think the average is 2.6 or something like tat... bUT we CHAI family (her mum is my darling big sister...) do things differently. We stand out amongst others and the baby is doing just that! Man, Chai family rocks!
Well... At last I've got her pictures. My mum's description of her was FAN-TAS-TIC. She has lots of hair and... she looks like any other babies... o_O Such a detailed description...
Presenting you my baby, Leticia:
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMN GORGEOUS!!!!!!! She is as cute as me... Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know... You guys would be o_O...
Dear Leticia,
This aunt is currently in NZ and misses you very much. She has not seen you in your screaming moods and apparently you have really bad ones. I really wish that I would be there to see you, but for now, I would have to just do with your photos.
I pray that you would grow up into a fine young woman, most importantly, putting God first in your life. Do everything by the word of the Lord and He will guide you. Live your life to the fullest but yet know your boundaries. I wish that you would be an example to your peers and your parents would be proud of you.
I wish you all the best and I hope that you would be sitting up and talking baby talk so this gila aunt would be able to communicate with you in her own baby language as well... I would like to smother you with kisses and hug you! You little darling and don't give your mummy a hard time k? She's my dearest sister and give her a break now and then...
Hugs and kisses from your fourth aunt. =)
xoxoxoxo
p.s. How bad is your crying? I've been hearing complains from your mum and aunt in Penang.

We CONQUERED (well, almost...)
Is it that cold in Auckland today? I've been getting messages that it is.
I've no idea because I was up in Coromandel, climbing the Pinacles. DANG!
It was awesome BUT... notice the BUT, I would never ever do it again this year. I'm aching all over. T-T Worth it though BUT still never...
We didn't managed to climb up to the Pinacles which is the highest peak in the Coromandel ranges because the wind was at 150km/hour... DANG.
The whole thing took us the whole day. We reached there at 8.45am and only left the park at 6pm. Ahahhaa... I never walked that much and that hard in my life.
Supposed to be sleeping but I guess that I took some nap in the car so I'm not that tired.
On another topic, TXT2000 is a service provided by Vodafone NZ for it's customers to text 2000 text messages to any Vodafone number at $10 per month. Kk... I replied your question liao Edmund.

Totally Awesome man!
WooOhOo...
I totally LURVE breaks. Awesome. We can do fun things with our youth. We decided to have an outing. Hehehe... Couldn't decide where to go til the very end when we decided that Muriwai beach would be a nice place, ie we need to have a place to BBQ, a beach or anything that we can have fun! =)
I think I'll let the photos do the talking... We really, really had a wonderful time. Good thing that we told them to meet up at 8.30am then go shopping then reach there by 10 cz all of us were late and the BIGGEST and LATEST group to arrive (4 cars) reached the BBQ spot at 11 something. We've almost finished cooking the food and they just started eating. LOL. Nice timing, people, NICE timing.
The cook (Mel) and the original Eaters

Then we decided that SOMEONE must be in the photo so we added him in...
AND another one...
Too lazy liao... EVERY ONE GO IN!!!!
Then.... After our HUGE lunch,
It's started to get warm...
Should have taken a shot of the trees cz everyone hang their jackets up on the tree.
Ooohhh... It's SOOOO hot...
I thought that it was a girls only photo and when I saw this......
Then Vincent invented a game... And some took it with lots of ENTHUSIASM!!
The game is a more complex version of tag and we had to put something in our back pockets.
The "kisasu-ism" is very evident here...
The two craziest guys in youth... Presenting you, Leo and Victor.
Feet or foot? Which kind of shoe you want?
What kind of photo is this? I think I'm the "normal" poser lah...
Front: Melissa
L-R: Leo, Esther, Vincent, Victor and Perry
The sea crashing behind us. Very scary cz we don't know how high the waves are gonna be.
Reached part I of the hill. The cave hole was interesting. This is how guys should pose.
First to last: Newton, Vincent n Ah Di
The other side of the posing post...
Anna (1/4 face), me, Adam, Kevin (orange), Victor and Ah Di
Oi everyone look at the camera lah...

L-R: Anna, me, Lucien, Adam and Victor (the ever grinning guy)
The people who walked real fast and is at part II of the hill
Climbing up to part II of the hill

Very proud of this cz we took it using my timer and yet we have no idea when it went off or took the photo... HAhah... Turns out nice!
Extremely dangerous guys... LOL. Victor n Scott.
Adam. "Ji Mo Gong Gong "
Eeeee... What is in that hole?
These guys are really fast. One minute they are at part II of the hill, the next, they are down at the rocks.
Conclusion: The hole is dangerous
Posing with the sea... On the rocks.
Got Anna to come in... Leo says that this is just a testing shot cz he wanted one with the crash of the waves.
This was the one he wanted... Man, we got wet...
At the beach, pretending to be cute for Jessie. =)
Jessie, Jessie and Esther. Haha... I'm pro at taking self-shots!
This is what you do after you climbed the hill, crawl along the rocks, play in the sea and walk back barefoot to our BBQ site...
Another form of entertainment when we got back... PSP!!! What's he's playing?
Some jap-py game of beating the drums. NOT EASY but he's the pro. Keeps laughing at me cz I keep missing the beat.
The owner of the PSP and Jappy game, Adam.
Compulsory group photo... Hehe... =)
