One really cute equation...

One thing why Teletubbies are evil... (I got this at the Simon Singh talk...)

Teletubbies = Money x Time
There is a saying that says time = money so, subsitute it into the equation.

Teletubbies = Money x Money
= Money^2 (squared or kuasa dua lolz...)
There is another saying that says Money is the root (punca) of evil.
So subsitute it into the equation, then it becomes
Teletubbies = Evil

That is why the Teletubbies are evil.

Hope u have a great laugh out of this.

G'day to all...

A VERI VERI VERI LATE Blog...

Hahah... I'm always a few days late of my blogging. I'm so lazy to blog... As you can see, my Rotorua blog is still not yet finish... Hehehhe... I'm so guilty of late blogs... Don't blame me.

However I really doubt that any one reads my blog anymore. Please please please do comment on my blogs... It seems so depressing that no one is reading. I know there are some technical mistakes. When you click on the post comments it will lead you back to the navigation page. Click the "blog" again and click the "post comments" part again. This time it will lead you to the comments page. DO POST COMMENTS!!! I'M DESPERATE!!

I went apple picking last Saturday. IT was FUN but... it's nearing the end of the apple season now. It was fun though... Free apples in the orchard. SO delicious... So many kinds of apples... My fav is Rose.. Sweet!! I ate I've no idea how many apples... Hehehe... Another thing I confirmed on this trip is that I really have motion sickness... Omigosh!! Sit on anything thing that goes longer than 10 minutes, I'll have headaches and feel uncomfortable... Bleargh... Hehehe... What to do?? God gave me this kind of body lolz...

*Good news: MANAGED TO FINISH MY GEO ASSIGNMENT B4 the DUE DATE...

A really-free-week followed by full-assignment-week then one-i-hate-which-is-assessment-week...

Oh no... I've not finished any of my assignment... OH NO!!

I had a really nice starting of the term... No homework, lots of books, no assignments and assessment. I was in seventh of heaven... Slept a lot... Apparently this is not one of those weeks... I've assignments and tons of homework due everyday... Not really... Biggie assignments due every other day, which is Monday (Physics... Luckily I've just finished it.), Wednesday (Geography!!! Oh NO!!!) and Friday(Childcare...)

I HATE ASSIGNMENTS!!!! I HATE IT WHEN IT'S DUE!!!

I wanna die... I'm so lazy but I shouldn't be. Pray that I can finish them on time.

After that it's my assessment week... 3!!! 3!!! Internal assessment... Statistics and English is what I fear most... 3 essays and tons of questions to be finished in 3 hours will kill me...

Haiz... Better got to study and finish up my assignments and start preparing for my internals... BLEARGH!!! (>.<)

Rotorua... Day One...

Three days of Rotorua are wearing me out but I had lots of great fun!! The place was just awesome!!!

I was at school by 7.20am on Wednesday. All of us were looking so blur. School starts at 8.40am, when do we have to get up at 6??? All of us were quite punctual except my friend who managed to catch the bus at the very last minute. She arrived at school around 7.45am. I thought the ride to Rotorua would be at least 4 hours. I get motion sickness so very easily so I took lots of food and tidbits with me. However those had no use for me as I was sleeping the whole way through. After 2 hours on the road, we stopped at Matamata (for those LOTR fans, it was the location for Hobbiton) for 20 minutes. It was a lovely town but quite small... Sort of the Serian town type. A few shops, no buildings higher than 2 storeys. I walked around the town with Cathy and Narena. It was freezing in Matamata. I had one of my thickest jacket on (FYI: Thickest= 2 layers)

Reached Rotorua at around 11.20am. Had my lunch at the waterfront. It was really windy. It doesn't seem any different from Auckland and the wind is so much less ferocious but, BUT it's soooooo much colder in Rotorua. No idea why... Hahaha... I loved the waterfront. It is built at the edges of Lake Rotorua. There are lots of humongous lakes in Rotorua. There's Lake Taupo and Lake Tarawera. After lunch we had to get on to our plans. Museum and our field trip. We were split into 3 groups (75 students, what do you expect?)I was in the first group. Had a splendid tour of the old Bath House (erm... lots of hot pools in Rotorua. People came from overseas just for the hot pools.) which is now incidentally a museum. Then went on a Duck Tour. The guy who took us on the ride was fun. He joked to whole way through. Went to Lake Rotorua, Lake Taupo and Lake Tararewa. Took us more than an hour. He asked us to sing our school song when we went up the hill. I have no idea how my school song is like. There's like 2 versions of it. One in English and one is in Maori. Obvoiusly we would sing the English one. It was pathetic. He commented on it... Don't blame me. They don't force us to learn the song by heart during our orientation week like our school. I've not heard it even though I was already in school for more than 4 months. We were back at the museum at 3.30pm. We were due to go on our field trip which was to do whatever we need to do for our research on the tourism in Rotorua. We harassed lots of tourists to do our surveys and I met quite a few Malaysians (I'm sure about two of them. They were speaking Malay!!) but I didn't tell them that I'm a Malaysian. The Caucasians were kinda cool. They did the surveys willingly and happily. I met two Chinese and I asked them if they were tourists or not. They looked at me like "HUH??!" So I switched to Chinese. They WERE NOT Chinese. When I thanked them and walked away, I could hear one guy saying to the another "She knows how to speak Chinese??" What the... Is it a surprised that I can speak Chinese and English well??
Back at the museum at 5pm. We had to checked into our hostel at 5.30pm. I was tired and grumpy and dirty. I was sharing my room with 4 other girls. I'm not looking forward to staying in my room because the only subject I don't have my friends in is Goegraphy. I was planning to sleep outside the room but luckily 4 very kind girls took me in... -_-" Ok... At the end of 3 days, we were great friends. Lucky that we took the 5 person room. The 2 person rooms were so so so tiny. Enough to put a bunk bed and a small dressing table. Hahaha... We had no time to shower anyway. We were all busy unpacking. We had to be out by 7pm for our dinner and at the cinema by 8.30pm.

I was looking for dinner with my new roommates, Theresa and Megan O'Neill (Another roommate of mine was Megan Bradley). We walked up and down the CBD of Rotorua for 30 minutes. We were getting really hungry. When we do sit down and eat, I was eating a Subway 6 inch sandwich, one regular fries, one small tub of mashed potatoes and coleslaw... I was that hungry... Then it's time for our movies. There are 4 movies showing. Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Kingdom of Heaven, Sahara and Friday Nights Out. I watched Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. There was only 11 of us watching along with my Geo teacher, Mr Maltby. The movie wasa quite good if you are a big sci-fi fan. I'm not and I almost slept... Hehehehe... We finished first but we still had to wait for the others. We were all busy texting (sms-ing). Mr Maltby asked us if he will fit in if he also start texting... Hahah...

Walked back to the hostel... Took us 20 minutes. Brrr... Froze me to my bones. Hahaha... Wanted to shower but still cannot, our curfew was at 11pm. When we got back it was already 10.30pm and the showers were jammed pack with girls... SO... I decided to shower early in the morning... I did shower that morning k?? Anyway didn't sweat much so should be no problem. Changed (others were wearing pjs and long sleeves and pants but I was still wearing a t-shirt and shorts) and slipped into my warm duvet... As my friend Megan O'Neill said, It was a long yet fun day...

*To be continued when I feel like it... Hahaha...

My arms hurt... Stinking, freaking hurt... All becuase of a stupid jab... When I got my BCG it was nothing... Why does a small jab that leaves no scars can hurt so much?? I've still got one more jab to go... That's one thing I'm not looking forward to...

Rotorua trip is tomorrow... I've got to be at school at 7.20am. Hahah...

Rotorua... Here I come!!!

YOo HoO!! Going to Rotorua in more than 24 hours... I'm getting jittery now. I've not packed yet. Wondering how much I need and which bag should I bring. Should I take the big one with wheels or the carry-on one??? I'll feel so embarrassed if I dragged a really humongous bag and others are carrying really small bags... How embarassing can it be?? Hahaha...

We will be doing research on tourism in Rotorua... I never know that Geography can be that fun!!!! Tourism RULEZ!!! I love Geography... Hahaha... Staying at a hostel and sharing my room with 4 more others... I hope that there will be tons of bathrooms and toilets... Apparently there are no bathrooms in our rooms... SO have to share with 80+ other Geography students from my school. One great thing is that there is a hot pool in my hostel. Mmmm... Relaxing... Hahaha...

Counting the hours and minutes leading to my trip to Rotorua. I hope that I don't die of starvation there... I've prepared Maggie Mi (using hot water is enough) and some biscuits.

Pray that I don't die on the way to Rotorua. I get car-sick so very fast...

~Ciao!!!

p.s. will post pictures of Rotorua... When I get back!!! (^-^)

Cooking... I'm learning heaps here. I can cook you know... Hahaha... Maggie Mi and eggs are my specialty back home.
I do love cooking but too lazy to do anything with it. Anyway sometimes my cooking do go awry. I did go to the toilet after eating it. At least I'm better after that lolz...
Learnt lots from my cousin... I do know how to cook now... Don't expect me to cook steak or fish and chips that sort of Western food... However I can proudly say that I can cook Lemon Chicken... If u have any cravings of eating home-cook fried chicken, find me... Don't expect me to cook for free... Cash and credit card accepted. Hahaahha... If none of those I mentioned... When I get back to Kuching, must do something that can make up for it... Hehehe... If you dare to eat lolz...

Dreary, rainy day...

It's so cold now, plus it started to rain today... I went out wearing winter gear. Ok... Winter gear is like wearing long sleeve shirts and a really thick, rain-proof jacket... Hahaha... Not yet to the point of wearing scarves and gloves...
*Lao ge, the scarf no use 1, not thick enough!!! Kek si... haha... Thanks anyway...

Our Geography trip is next week. SO looking forward to it. Rotorua!!! When will I get the chance to go there??? Cool... However I heard that it started snowing there... Brrr... SO scared of the cold... Don't freeze me that's all I ask...No fun without Ms Petueli... She moved to Wellington and we got Mr Maltby instead. He's not bad but I still prefer Ms Petueli. Anyway he's cool and keeps saying "Sweet" to everything... Hahaha... Noticed that he has a stud in his ear... How cool can a teacher get.

It rained the whole way I got home... I always hate pink but I think my pink umbrella lifts my spirit up when the day is just grey, black and white. At least there's colours in my life whenever I think that a day is so grey... Sometimes things you hate will become something that you will appreciate one day for it's existence...

Ok... That's all... So bored... Chat to me guys!!!!

*Remind me to do my homework first before starting to chat to me...

Hahah... Got this really terrigible bruise by NOT climbing the ladder to my bunk properly... Nice aye? Painful ar... Posted by Hello
