Hectic... NOT ENOUGH SLEEP!!!

Oh NO!! I'm spending at least 12 hours in school everyday of this week... What for?? My school production-lah!! Sound of Music. Nah, I'm not acting but I'm in the orchestra for violin... I know my violin playing sounds like killing chickens but aye... They need me... Wekekke...

At least I'm allowed to blog at school. I cannot check my hotmail emails and also go onto Friendster... All blocked by my school...

I've only started the new timetable for 2 days and boy, I'm tired!!!

I do wonder how can I stand studying til 2am and wake up at 6.45am everyday when in Malaysia... Here I go to bed at 11pm and wake up at 7.30am and I still feel really tired...

An Emotional Day

I planned to have my violin looked at today. It has a big crack running it. I had put off having it looked at since last term holidays which was like more than 2 months ago. Today I decided that by hook and by crook I would have it looked at. The main problem is that I've no idea where the shop was and I do not know how to get there by bus. Wahaha... I only know how to walk and walking to Dominion Rd is NOT easy. It's one of the longest roads here. So I decided to go with a friend who is an expert on buses.

Went to midcity to take a bus. Ok... Bus number 258. MUST REMEMBER!!! If not I really don't know how to pick up my violin lolz... Went to Dominion Rd. I asked the bus driver does the bus go past Balmoral or not. He says yes. I was like... Err... Ok... The bus driver must have sensed my uncertainty. He say that he would call out when we reached Balmoral. I was like "Thannkk youuu!!" He was sooo nice and patient.

We reached Balmoral... We looked around. Hmm... Where to find that shop??!! I've never been out of Auckland City with my friends... Blurrr... So look up and down, left and right. Don't know where we are. Ok... Start walking down the road, occasionally spotting a number. The first time we spotted one was 625!! WOW! The shop I'm looking for is at 863... 200 more shops and houses to go... It's going to be a really long walk. Walk walk walk... At least got 10 minutes, then suddenly spotted 862!! Yea! Reaching there soon. Walk next door, eh why the number is 864?? Where is 863?? Walk further... Ai?? 124?? Apa ni?? Hahah... Had to walk back to the shops and ask them. The Indian lady was so nice. When she knew I was looking for the violin shop, she directed me. Ok... That should be sufficient enough but heck, I still was blurr... I was supposed to looked for some HB sign and a shop that has lots of guitars. Ok... Walk down the road, went past 880, then 886... I felt like screaming "WHERE THE HECK IS THAT SHOP??" Then my friend noticed that the side of our road are all even numbers and the opposite are all odd numbers. I also spotted the the sign "Guitars" pointing to the opposite side of the road. Then I saw the shop. It was quaint and sweet. I knew violin shop would be upstairs as the add was said "Upper Room 863 Balmoral Dominion Rd." Went up and I saw this shop full of violins and also guitars. Saw an old guy talking to some customers and a young lady was looking expectantly at me. I told her about my case and the lady had another guy in the workshop to take a look at it.

The old guy was apparently listening to what I was saying and he said, "Don't cry..." I was like... I'm not crying ler... Then the lady told me that it would take around a week and $200 to repair my violin. I was not sure whether to have it repaired here or to bring it back to Malaysia for repair as it is so much cheaper. So I decided to call home. My dad picked up the phone and I was like "Daddy, ask mummy whether to have the violin repaired here, it will cost around $200." My mum say ok. Have it repaired here. So my dad was asking, you have money right?? I say yup, then I hung up quickly because I was using my friend's handphone.

After calling my parents, I wanted to leave but he old man told me that he wanted to have a talk with me. OH NO!!! He asked me to tell him what happened to the violin and I told him. Halfway through it I started crying... (I've no idea why) He was so sweet, he handed me a hankie and told me that it's not my fault and he is there to fix it. He is a Christian and a very nice one. So much like a grandpa to me. Ok. My grandparents were never very affectionate so this is a whole new experience. He said that once I stepped into the shop he knew there was something wrong and he can help me fix it. He also said that God has led me to this shop so he will try his best to fix up my violin. Thank God.

I really thank the Lord for leading me to that shop. My teacher had originally recommended that shop but I never really went and find it because it was really far. I had prefered somewhere nearer home but at last I still chose to go there. God's plan?

At least my China friends would be interested in Christianity. It would be hard, leading them to the Lord but cross my fingers, it would be a sucessful one. Heheh...

*Who the heck is sien liau bueh! I don't bite and don't kill. I know who I am. Who are you?

Worked my nerves up when I wanted to call the shop. Heheh... Some of you would know. I pestered Ling Tung til he lost his head with me and ordered me to call the damn shop. Then I couldn't dial the last number so I called my friend and she was like... Ceh... Such a small thing. Call me when it is something big lolz... BUT I've a phobia calling someone and it's BIG!

Wahahaha... HOLIDAYS!!!!!

I'm feeling pretty good right now... It's the holidays and I can do whatever I want to do, which are:

  1. Sleeping
  2. Make a cheese cake (noticed it doesn't say BAKE)
  3. Watch all the tv I want
  4. Go online as often I can...
  5. Go out with friends, in other words, LEPAK at Queen Street
  6. Read all I can... Book nutter... Especially with Harry Potter coming out soon... Precisely at 11.01am in Auckland, NZ...

Well... I did all that and I also planned to study as hard as I can and also write tons and tons of essays. Plus study for all my subjects... There's a really biggie exam coming up in Week 7 of Term 3. I'm hoping that I'll do really well.

I made a cheese cake yesterday... In fact it was at 10pm at night... I didn't want to make a baked cheese cake as I prefer the chilled one more. So I DID IT!!! I did subsitute some of the ingredients but I used most of it recommended in the cooking book. I was planning to do it alone but I sure need my cousin's help. Without her help I think my cake would have flunk deep down into the valley of wherever.

Well that's the starting of my hols and I'm making a great start. My plans are that to relax the first week and study the next. Hehe... Wish me luck that I would stick to it.

WHEN ARE MY HOLS!!?!?!!

Haha... I've never been blogging much and I do think what I write really stinks.
Bleargh... Bored man... Bored to death.

I think the teachers here have a penchant for having exmas at the end of the term or semester. My first semester ended with me having to have exams everyday of the week and coming out looking really blur and sleepy. Now I'm coming to the of term 2 and voila! all the teachers decided to have exams on wednesday (2 very stressing ones - Physics and Geography) and Statistics on Thursday... CAN THEY STOP HAVING EXAMS AT THE END OF THE TERM!!??

The Da Vinci Code (movie) is coming out next year... I think the date is 19 of MAy 2006... Hmm... I wonder which would be the first to ban it?? Malaysian Government or the Vatican??? Hahaha... I'm sure that the movie would not be shown in Malaysia unless our censor department suddenly turn a blind eye against the religion issue. The Church and the Pope would be the first to condemn it... Hmm... All over a movie and it's influence. I do say that the book was quite convincing on it's own. That's really bad. It's just a piece of fiction and IT'S ONLY FICTION FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! However not all readers think so... HMMMM... Well it will be directed by Ron HOward (he directed I think BAtman Begins and also A Beautiful Mind which incidentally is my film study where the teacher made us watch the movie at least 3 times over and over again... SO DEPRESSING!!!) Tom Hanks and Ian McKellan will be starring. One movie to look out next year despite the controversy...

It's the coldest month of the year and I still wear shorts and t-shirts all around the house with no heating on... I like the feeling of cold anyway... Most of my friends are sick with the flu or cough... Thank God that with His blessing I'm still going healthy.

Ok... I've decided to change my skin again... I HATE CHANGES but this is really getting on my nerves as no one is reading my blog...

>.<

Just reloaded my hp... Hope I wouldn't kill it off in a week...
