I sometimes feel if teaching was the job for me. At first, I felt so SURE that it is the job. Had some glitches in the first few months while applying for university and then another few more with my application and enrolment then visa problems but still... I never felt so hopeless.

I know God has plans for me but... With my lecturer meeting up to write up my BLOODY report to SAY I've passed... It's like a sword hanging over my head with a single thread of hair. I had problems with her passing my folder...

BUT... Hope is never far away...

SHE JUST CALLED ME!

Pray that she will... be pleased or at least, just pass me.

Anything that hurt them, it's my hurt. When you started laughing at my mum, you've crossed that line. A small joke is not a small joke anymore. I've only got my mum and dad, biologically or adopted parents, they ARE the ones that are my mum and dad.

BIOLOGICALLY, I should not take sides.

RELATIVELY, I WILL take my parents' sides.

Plus, if she can't control it, laughing along with others WILL still not help. It just shows her immaturity.

Social? Informal ball mainly for intermediate students and junior high students...

I was deliberating whether to go or not...

BUT

I went because the temptation was too great!! (I just can't wait to see my students dressed up)

It was fun. Kids will still be kids. Balls are such formal occasions and going to a ball with Malaysians means that it will be an awkward occasion when dancing is like... for the super drunk and super free.

Dancing with the kids means it's just awesome. Shake or do anything you want and they will still be laughing with you. Less Asian kids mean less awkwardness. These 11-13 year olds are just fun to dance. If you forced them to waltz, they will ask you to dance. ^^ Cool kids...

This will end my practicum with a big bang... I really loved this school and students. Even though they do make me really mad but still, they are the most awesome kids I've been with.

Tomorrow is my last day... And I'm making them do tests. *evil laugh*

MISS SONG!!!!!!

It was Christmas in the Park...

VERY COOL as I had a whole bunch of cool (and underage) teenagers with me. I was the OLD one. They all range from ages 12 to 16...

MAN, I'M OLD.

We walked around, saw lots of hot guys and girls. (I am ONE BIG KID)

We walked to the amusement area and saw this really cool rides (as in I will not ride them at all) and... Anna kept yelling that she needs to go on those but problem is I didn't have any cash, Jess had none too, Kai has 4.50, Jerry had 1 dollar and Anna herself has 5 bucks. Which I think would not get us into any of those cool rides. While we were waiting for Shane to come find Anna *cough*, the ride which we were standing in front of stopped.

Out came my students. *ahem*

I made a mistake of calling one of them.

And I had like... screams and shouts of "MISS SONG!!!!!! MISS SONG MISS SONG!!!!!!"

T_T Hell had arrived. They left pretty quickly. I don't think they liked seeing teachers in events LOL.

I saw another batch of students. AGAIN. Tried slipping past them but "MISS SONG!!! YOU ARE HERE!!!"

Anna started talking to them. T_T DANGER!! I've no idea what she told them til they said "Pedophile" I WILL TALK TO THEM TOMORROW. (and give lines too)

Met Anna's mates a heck lot of times and the ONE time we stopped so she could have a long-as convo... Kai suddenly called out one of them, pointed at me and said "Mate, she thinks you are hot!"

OI!!!!!!! I'm 20... Not 15... T_T I think he's hot? I think he's underage.

Moral of the story: Don't go to events where you will see your students and DON'T GO WITH UNDERDAGE KIDS.

It seems to work because they would do this...

Plus... I come up with really long ones and they get sick of it...

It does control the students' behavior for a while. They think I'm very mean because I make them write lines like this:

I will behave appropriately during carol service practise.

I will not resort to violent behavior as it does not resolve conflicts.

I will not steal food from our class' Christmas giving box.

I will not say Miss Song, I saw you at the Christmas in the Park.
Longest one was:

I will not make stupid, silly statements that are totally falsity about my student teacher.

I threatened them 100 lines...

One really cute student asked me, "You really take delight in making us do lines?"

I replied, "YEAH!! It's the highlight of my teaching!"

HAHAHAHAHAHHAA... I'm the meanest student teacher they ever had.
